Although until now not known the exact cause of acne, but several factors such as hormones, stress and food suspected to be the trigger.

However, a number of food is also known as a cause of acne. In a 2002 study published in the Archives of Dermatology shows strong evidence, certain foods can cause acne. In theory, refined carbohydrates cause increased production of sebum and clogged pores.

So, what foods affect acne?

1. Chocolate

We know, high-sugar foods such as chocolate can increase the production of sebum and the inflammatory response in the body that stimulate the appearance of acne.

2. Spicy foods

3. Cheese

7. The fries

The fries are processed carbohydrates that you need to consider if you do not want acne.

8. Soda

Soda is loaded with sugar and have a high glycemic which leads to increased blood sugar levels and fat. To counter the spike in blood sugar, the body will produce more insulin and testosterone to trigger skin inflammation and clogged pores.
